Celebration of 76th Independence Day- 2022
The Indian government decided to honour freedom heroes and mark India’s 75th anniversary of independence. As a result, they decided to organise a number of events, and the government gave the festival the name “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.” which translates to “Nectar of Great Celebration,” marks the 75th anniversary of India’s independence from the British Raj.
The general celebrations started on March 12, 2021, and will last until August 15, 2023. The Indian Prime Minister raises the flag from Red Fort in Delhi as is customary, and then he gives a speech about the country’s accomplishments and proud moments. The same holiday was observed locally in each of India’s states and cities. The festivities include of a variety of shows, plays, marches, carnivals, etc.
Indians are urged to change their social media profile pictures to the Indian flag in Man Ki Baat on July 31, 2022.between August 2 and August 15. In a similar vein, Sabarmati University enthusiastically observed Independence Day on August 15, 2022. Respected Dr. Jyoti Shrivasatav (Registrar, I/C) and Dr. Parshuram Dhakad (Dean Academics) hosted the flag. The National Anthem was sung after the flag salute, and then sweets were distributed to the teaching and support staff. Some of the photographs are given for reference.
