Sabarmati University has a vision to produce noble & global citizen. SU actualizes this vision eventually with each activity. Celebration of World Environment Day is one such in chain. In today’s world environment needs our focused, intense & urgent attention as the whole world is facing environmental issues & problems. The environment is the most precious gift to humans on this planet. Today we need to focus on the importance of the environment and to remind ourselves that nature shouldn’t be taken for granted.

The day also reminds us of various measures and steps to be taken to protect our environment. Our environment is one of the most important aspects to survive on this planet. Celebrating the day under the observation of ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ Sabarmati University organised a National Seminar on the theme “Climate Change Resilience for Water Security” on the university campus where eminent personnel from different fields related to environment graced the occasion. The state is so alarming that the days of survival also have become predictable.

Environmental awareness is to be spread at all fronts & in all walls of life. Celebration of World Environment Day with its right spirit is one of the measures. Our easy survival will be converted into tough survival if environmental issues & problems are not dealt on immediately.
