Objectives of the Educational Trip– “Scenic Rajasthan”

The educational trip to Rajasthan was organized with the objective of providing students with experiential learning beyond the classroom. The trip aimed to:

• Enhance students’ understanding of Indian history, culture, and heritage
• Provide exposure to architectural marvels such as forts, palaces, and heritage structures
• Foster national pride by visiting strategically important locations like Longewala Border
• Encourage social bonding, teamwork, and discipline among students
• Promote holistic development through cultural and spiritual exposure.

 Details of Travel and Accommodation

• Mode of Travel: 2×2 Luxury AC buses with pushback seats
• Accommodation: AC hotel rooms on a four-sharing basis
• Food Arrangements: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the trip
• Additional Facilities:

  • Folk dance and cultural music at desert camp
  • Professional guides at Jodhpur and Jaisalmer

Day-wise Itinerary and Activities

• Day 1 (08/12/2025): Night departure from Sabarmati University, Ahmedabad to Jodhpur
• Day 2 (09/12/2025): Morning check-in and breakfast
  • Visit to Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, and Mandore Garden
  • Educational briefing on Rajput architecture and history
  • Overnight stay at Jodhpur (Beniwal Palace)

• Day 3 (10/12/2025):
  • Departure to Jaisalmer after breakfast
  • Visit to Ramdevra Temple en route
  • Evening check-in at hotel in Jaisalmer
  • Cultural orientation session
  • Overnight stay at Jaisalmer

• Day 4 (11/12/2025):
  • Sightseeing of Jaisalmer Fort (Golden Fort), Gadisar Lake, Patwa Haveli, and Local Market
  • Drive to Sam Sand Dunes
  • Visit to Kuldhara Heritage Village and Amar Sagar Temple
  • Camel safari and cultural programme at desert camp
  • Overnight stay at Desert Camp

• Day 5 (12/12/2025):
  • Visit to Tanot Mata Temple and Longewala Border
  • Interaction session highlighting India’s defense history
  • Return journey to Ahmedabad
