Sabarmati University Organizes Online Faculty Development Programs which is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) Government of India.

Topic: Recent Trends in Soft Computing Techniques

This online program is being organized between 20th October 2021 to 29th October 2021 by Sabarmati University Ahmedabad Gujarat in association with E & ICT Academy, NIT Warangal.

“Electronics & ICT Academy” was set up at NIT Warangal with financial assistance from MeitY, GoI. The jurisdiction of this academy is Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Puducherry, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. academy’s role is to offer Faculty Development Programmes in standardized courses and emerging areas of Electronics, Information Communication Technologies, training & consultancy services for Industry, Curriculum development for Industry, CEP for working professionals, Advice and support for technical incubation and entrepreneurial activities.

About the Program

The Faculty Development Program will help to disseminate the knowledge in the domain of science and Technology Soft computing is an emerging approach to computing that parallels the remarkable ability of the human mind to reason and learn in an environment of uncertainty and imprecision. Soft computing is based on some biological inspired methodologies such as genetics, evolution, ant’s behaviors, particle swarming, human nervous systems, etc.

Soft computing encompasses techniques like Neural networks, fuzzy logic, and optimization algorithms, machine learning and it has emerged as an effective tool for the purpose of modeling, control, and decision-making problems in complex systems. This FDP will provide a platform for learning Soft Computing and Optimization algorithms with their application in various domains.
