Medical Check-up Camp Organised by Sabarmati University

Medical Check-up Camp 23^rd June 2023: The NSS Wing of Sabarmati University, in hands with Apollo Hospitals & Bank of India, organized a one- day free medical camp for the benefit of students and all staff members of university on 23^rd June 2023 (Friday). The medical camp was conducted at University campus and its organizing team included NSS volunteers of university led by NSS Programme Officer and NSS Coordinator. The medical team consisted of Dr. Virendra (General Medicine), Dr. Darshan (General Medicine) and 5 sisters including Ms. Divya Parmar, Ms. Bhargavi Parmar, Ms. Mansi Darji, Ms. Nandini Patel and Mr. Harsh patel from Apollo Hospital, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The team was lead by Ms. Priyanka Patel, Marketing Manager, Apollo Hospital. The event was coordinated by our associates from Bank of India including Dr. Birendra Kumar, Chief Marketing Manager BOI, Mr. Pinakin Solanki, Branch Manager, BOI, Ognaj Branch and his team.

The teams arrived to the location at 10 am and the camp was inaugurated with a welcome speech by the Registrar and with the presentation of mementos to the Doctors, BOI team and Nurses, by the Prof. (Dr.) Parshuram Dhaked, Dr. Kirit Vyas, Dr. Anshul Rajawat, Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Satyapal, Dr. Bincy Bose and Dr. Rachna Mishra, respectively. In total, 158 participants attended the medical camp and got benefitted. The camp included tests like checking of Height, Weight, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index, Random Blood Sugar followed by ECG with doctor’s consultation. The NSS volunteers played a vital role in making this camp success with their dedication in serving people, they directed people in all needy way.
