Essay Writing Competition on Gujarat’s Cultural History
It is a proud moment for all of us as India holds the Presidency of G20 from 1st December 2022 to 30th November 2023. The theme of India’s Presidency is “वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्” (One Earth, One Family, One Future).
As a part of University Connect, Sabarmati University had arranged an “Essay Writing Competition” On “Gujarat’s Cultural History” on 15th February 2023 at room no. 001 from 1030hr onwards. The session was graced was Provost, Dr. K.B. Vyas, Registrar I/C, Dr. Jyoti Srivastava and Dean Academics, Prof. (Dr.) Parshuram Dhaked.
The competition was also graced by the respective Directors and Heads of all departments including faculties as well as students. The session was organized by the internal team appointed for conduction of different activities related to G20 summit. As a gesture to cater information related to G20 India’s Presidency, students of various schools were also invited for participating in the competition. Students from various reputed schools like, S.S. Divine International School, Alpha International School, GEMS Genesis International School, etc. participated in the competition.
Total of 30 participants registered for the competition. The first prizes were secured by Patel Jeeya Hemendrabhai (English Medium Category) S.S. Divine School & Heta Upadhyay Gautambhai (Gujarati Medium Category Sabarmati University. The second prizes were secured by Patel Harmi Nishitbhai (English Medium Category) S.S. Divine School school & Jeel Patel (Gujarati Medium Category) Sabarmati University. The competition got over with the prize distribution ceremony. The winners were presented with certificate and momento.
