Sabarmati Blood Donation Drive-24/02/2023

Sabarmati University aims at preparing students as ideal citizens & valuable social units. The Blood Donation Drive is one of the activities towards the fulfillment of the aforesaid aim. Apart from this, they also get to develop awareness how blood donation is a noble act and beneficial for donor’s own health also. Blood donation drive is a hidden health check up too as it can reveal potential health problems, can reduce harmful iron stores, may lower risk of suffering  a heart attack, may reduce risk of developing  cancer and can help liver stay healthy. It was held in the university campus on 24th February 2023.

A team of doctors and nurses of Prathama Blood Centre came for collection of blood. About 38 volunteers including students and staff of the university had volunteered for donating blood. A Certificate of appreciation, donation card, refreshment and a token of respect was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
