Blood Donation Camp 15 July 2023

The NSS unit of Sabarmati University organized a blood donation camp in collaboration withLions Rotary Club, Ahmedabad. The camp began at 10.00 a.m. with a short inaugural function. The Camp was inaugurated by NSS Program Officer and volunteers. The event serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood. A blood service that gives patients access to safe blood and blood products insufficient quantity is a key component of an effective health system. The global theme of Blood Donation Camp changes each year in recognition of the selfless individuals who donate their blood for people unknown to them. Sabarmati University NSS wing is always active in the welfare of the society and its students. As a part of organizing Blood Donation Camp, the members of NSS wing of Sabarmati University organized a blood donation camp in association with Lions Rotary Club, Ahmedabad. Students and faculty members of the university also participated in the camp. More than 17 bags of blood were donated in the camp duration.
