SU Organised Run for Tiranga Yatra- 10th Aug 2022
On 10th August 2022 Sabarmati University organised the Run for Tiragna from 10 am onwards. The run was conducted to raise awareness about displaying the National Flag. People from all walks of life and all ages participated. The event’s motto, RUN for TIRANGA, aims to raise awareness of our national flag and encourage people to use it and its colours on a daily basis.
The “Tiranga Run” is a sombre reminder of the freedom that every Indian citizen enjoys and that was achieved through a deadly independence fight.
The program started with the felicitation of our chief guest, Prof M.M Patel, Mr. Rajni Patel, Dr Jyoti Shrivasatav (Registrat I/C) and Prof Parshuram Dhakad (Dean Academics). The program was hosted by Ms. Reeti Pandya (Assistant Professor, English). After felicitation, the program continued to flag hosting by respected Prof M.M Patel and National Anthem.
After that Run for Tiragna was conducted between our University to Sardar Dham (Near Vaishno Devi Circle, Distance – 4km from Sabarmati University). The program continued with photo session snacks distribution. The program ended by 1 pm. All over 100-200 participants contributed to making the program successful.
