National Youth Day Event Report- 12/01/2023

The National Service Scheme unit of Sabarmati University, Ahmedabad has been functioning well with so many activities furnishing development to the volunteers as well as the community. The Unit Coordinator Mr. Kunal Patwari and Programme Officer Dr. Dilip Chaudhary did their best with the support of the Registrar I/C, Dr. Jyoti Srivastava , Dean Prof. (Dr.) Parshuram Dhaked and other faculties in the university. As a part of celebrating the National Youth Day 2023, the NSS wing members visited the Blind People’s Association India, Ahmedabad Campus.

The members celebrated the day with the very talented specially abeld students of classes I to XII of Blind People’s Association India, Ahmedabad campus. The wing members distributed water bottles to the students as a token of respect. The learners showcased their talent by performing different genre of songs and putting on their views on today’s youth. The learners also provided the wing members with  hands on experience on paper plates and paper cup making.

The specially abled learners took the wing members to experience the Vision In The Dark Room to sensitise people how difficult it is for anyone to manage darkness and change the perception of the people about how the visually challenged manage their life by developing alternative senses, and can even progress.

The members of NSS wing also distributed refreshments to each and every member of the Association. The celebration ended with the group photo of the wing members at the campus.
