Most of us keep “connected” through laptops, cell phones, tablets, or desktop computers. The internet has a great deal of potential to be a useful and enjoyable tool for learning, keeping in touch, having fun, and finding entertainment. However, if we use the internet carelessly, we run the chance of becoming the victim of abuse or unlawful conduct, such as fraud, harassment, or worse.
Sabarmati University always stays a step ahead by organizing various Programme/ workshop on cyber Security awareness. In order to safeguard personal information and company activities, online systems’ security and integrity are essential to all of us, whether directly or indirectly. We all know that cyber-attacks may seriously harm both individuals and organizations, that’s why cyber security is so important these days.So the purpose of the workshop on cyber awareness is to safeguard systems’ availability, confidentiality, and integrity.
Sabarmati University – Cyber Club organized a workshop on 05th August, 2024, titled as “CYBER AWARENESS- SAFE GUARDING OUR DIGITAL FUTURE” under the guidance of Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, Department of Education, Government of Gujarat for promoting “CYBER HYGIENE” among university students.. The Key Speaker of the workshop was Mr. Falgun Rathod (Cyber Security Expert )Founder and Managing Director at Cyber Octet Pvt. Ltd.He gave us insight knowledge on security of data and password, how hackers move on cybercrimes, types of cybercrimes, strategy of hackers. He enlightened us with her vast knowledge of Cyber Law and Cyber forensic .
Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Anjali Shah and Mr. Kaushal Soni who coordinated the entire Workshop, Dr. Pankaj Dixit introduced Mr. Falgun Rathod, the Key Speaker and also delivered the Vote of Thanks. There were more than sixty participants who joined the session.
The Workshop gave insight about important tips and suggestions for safe guarding our digital future and to protect private data from hackers, fraudsters, and other bad actors in order to stop data breaches and identity theft.
